The Performance Manager is the operational backbone of the Performance & Strategy Department at SOLS Energy, ensuring leadership commitments are tracked, followed through, and delivered. What do I need?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Business, Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, project management, executive coordination, or a performance or strategy function.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with high accuracy and a low error rate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to produce clear, concise briefing documents and follow-up summaries.
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leaders and able to hold people accountable without being confrontational.
  • High personal discipline and follow-through, without dropping tasks or waiting to be chased.
  • Proficient with tracking tools and productivity systems such as Google Sheets, HubSpot, and project management tools.

What will I do?

  • Maintain a live, accurate dashboard of all committed priorities, projects, and milestones across departments.
  • Follow up directly with managers and leaders on outstanding deliverables and escalate execution gaps to the Performance Director.
  • Assist in preparing for and conducting structured weekly leadership performance reviews, documenting outcomes, actions, and owners.
  • Monitor whether department projects and leader time allocation align with the company's stated priorities, flagging drift early.
  • Audit leader time allocation patterns to protect strategic work, and support time-blocking discipline across the leadership team.
  • Prepare briefing materials and progress summaries to support informed decision-making, and follow up post-decision to confirm actions were implemented.
  • Prepare concise weekly and monthly performance reports covering strategic progress, execution risks, and leadership trends.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the department and continuously improve the tools, templates, and processes used for execution oversight.
