Job Overview

The Videographer is responsible for creating compelling video content for various social media platforms. You will collaborate with different teams to ensure high-quality production and maintain video equipment.

What do I need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in videography and video editing.
  • Strong videography skills, including camera operation, lighting, and shot composition.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of various video production equipment.

What will I do?

  • Capture, edit, and produce various types of video content to support SOLS Foundation's marketing, educational, and promotional initiatives.
  • Create compelling video materials that effectively convey the organization's mission and impact.
  • Produce diverse video content, including promotional videos, educational content, documentary-style videos, interviews with stakeholders, solar installation videos, and event coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team, education team, and other departments to meet specific video production needs.
  • Operate professional video and audio equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Reflect SOLS Foundation's core values of serving, educating, and empowering in video content by emphasizing authenticity and empathy.
  • Apply storytelling and visual direction that resonates with the audience's needs and emotions.
  • Produce video content on a regular basis, adjusting the frequency and volume based on project requirements.
  • Work on-location, in a studio, or a combination of both, with occasional travel for on-location shoots, especially for event coverage.
