Job Overview

The Social Media & Marketing Intern will support the Marketing team in managing SOLS Group's social media presence across multiple brands. The role covers content creation, social media management, community engagement, campaign support, and basic performance tracking.

What do I need?

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Available for a minimum internship period of 3 months.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Familiar with major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Threads.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
• Basic understanding of social media metrics such as reach, impressions, and engagement.

What will I do?

• Assist in planning and executing social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Threads.
• Draft captions and short-form copy while maintaining each brand's tone and communication style.
• Schedule and publish content using Meta Business Suite and other relevant tools.
• Monitor comments and messages, and respond to enquiries in a professional and on-brand manner.
• Support marketing campaigns, events, photoshoots, and real-time social media coverage.
• Track basic social media performance and prepare simple weekly reports.
• Monitor social media trends and suggest relevant content ideas.
